Funding project

HE-JU-IHI-2023-05-01-VICT3R-F. SANZ Developing and implementing virtual control groups to reduce animal use in toxicology research.

Tasks in the project

Analysis of large databases of biomedical data. Development, validation and software implementation of data sampling methodologies allowing to obtain representative collections of objects. Collaboration with other teams producing synthetic data using generative algorithms.

Required skills

· Degree in statistics, data sciences, mathematics, or related disciplines.

· Strong background in statistics. Demonstrable experience in using multivariate statistical methods like PCA, factor analysis and cluster analysis in scientific research.

· Knowledge of ML and AI technologies and libraries (scikit-learn, Py-Torch, tensor flow) would be a plus.

· Proficient in R or Python programming. Experience in Shiny programming or web applications in Python will be considered a plus.

· Experience in the use of SQL databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL).

· Excellent English communication skills.

Annual gross salary

in a range from 48.000 € to 69.000 € per year, to be negotiated according candidate’s experience.

Group & complement

PSR 1 (between level F and level A)

Dedication:

Full time.

Contract type

Indefinite, according to RD 32/2021 of December 28th, 2021; and article 23 bis of Law 14/2011 of June 1st, 2011 of Science, Technology and Innovation.

2. Professional experience/ Adequation to proposed profile: 0-60 points.

3. Other merits: 0-20 points.

Minimum punctuation required: 80 points.
