Description
The selected person will join the Health services research group (Epidemiology and public health research program).
Task
Offering data analytical and statistical support to facilitate the execution of the RECIPROC project and related activities. The RECIPROC project aims to develop a clinical decision support system that improves the detection, prediction, and management of suicide risk and self-harm. Tasks include the management and analysis of large sets of electronic healthcare registry data
Formation
Master’s degree in Statistics, Bioinformatics, Data Science, or a related field is required
Experience
We value expertise in the following areas: data management, data quality control, and the use of state-of-the-art data analytical techniques, including descriptive statistical analysis and data visualization, exploratory data analysis (e.g., PCA), inferential data analysis (e.g., survival analysis), and predictive analysis (e.g., logistic regression or machine learning techniques).
Knowledge
Good knowledge of statistical software packages such as R or Python is required. We value independent thinking and the ability and willingness to acquire new analytical skills when necessary. Effective communication, strong organizational skills, and teamwork are crucial within our team. Proficiency in Catalan, Spanish, and/or English is valued.
